Social dining spreads its wings internationally

Hi There! Thanks for visiting. We have some exciting news. Share a Bite has now joined with the world's first and most expansive social dining network - so that you can now join and create events in even more participating cites across Western Europe.

For all existing Share a Bite users:

Your profile from stays exactly the same but has been transferred to where you'll find your network, your friends, and your dinners (COdining events) just as they were on Shareabite, with the added options of organizing your own events (CObreakfasting, Colunching, COwining and COdining).

You can continue to use your original Share a Bite login and password (in case you had one) for

AMSTERDAM/PARIS| [12] August '12 - COlunching SAS, the World's first and most international social dining platform today announces the acquisition of Share a Bite BV. Together the two firms, under the name COlunching, cover most Western European countries and have their eyes on expansion into Asia and the Americas.


About COlunching:

COlunching was founded in 2010 by Frederic de Bourguet and Sonia Zannad as the first social dining platform worldwide. In the past 18 months it has already attracted over 7,500 active members in France alone. COlunching launched in Paris in March 2011 and has since launched in more than 30 countries where COlunching, COdining and CObrunching events are being embraced as the new way to reconnect with new people.

Share a Bite was founded in November 2011 by Wouter Kneepkens and Bastiaan, after Wouter saw the potential of social dining in San Francisco. After having introduced the Netherlands to social dining Share a Bite quickly grew to hosting dinners in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht and The Hague.
